Scott Nelson, DPM is a private practicing Podiatrist who has served the Northeast Dallas community for 20+ years. He married Gloria Nelson in August 1993, and they have three boys. Rev. Zachary Nelson, wife Brookelyn and new grandson Tommy reside in the central valley area of California. Geoffrey is starting a career in the auto industry in Dallas, and their youngest, Joshua, is working on a counseling degree at Southern Nazarene University in the Oklahoma City area.
Ministry is vital to Scott and Gloria, from serving in their local church to being former missionaries in Papua New Guinea. They share a passionate vision for sharing their home and property as place of respite and aid for ministers and others in need. They have long dreamed of establishing a Christian camp. Teaming with several others, they helped establish what we now know as Camp Iron Bluffs.
