A Message From Our Directors
Camp Iron Bluffs exists to inspire, empower, and equip people to live a life of significance, and that mission begins with our staff.
We believe God uses the outdoors, shared adventure, and authentic community to shape hearts and reveal purpose. When you serve at Camp Iron Bluffs, you are stepping into more than a role, you are helping create moments where faith and relationships can grow, confidence can take root, and lives can be changed.
This camp is built on relationships, relationships with Christ, with one another, with the campers, and guests entrusted to us. You’ll be challenged, encouraged, and supported as you grow as a leader and as a person. Some days will stretch you, many will surprise you, all of them will matter.

Frequently Asked Questions
When does staff training start?
Staff training usually begins a week before the first campers arrive. During this time, we focus on safety, leadership skills, role-specific training, and building community among staff.
What are the dates for summer?
The summer season runs from late May through early August 2026. Exact dates will be provided in your offer letter.
Is housing provided?
Yes! All staff live on-site in shared staff housing. It’s a great way to build community and fully experience camp life.
Are meals provided?
Yes! We provide wholesome, delicious meals for all staff, when we have meals for camp or groups, giving you energy for your busy days.
What’s the compensation?
Stipends vary by role and experience. Housing and meals are included, plus the opportunity to grow in skills, leadership, and faith.
Are Background Checks required?
All staff complete a background check and necessary employment screenings/paperwork before arrival. Safety and care for our campers are top priorities.
Are there days off during camp sessions?
Staff generally have one or two days off per week depending on the schedule. It’s a great time to rest, connect with friends, or enjoy the outdoors.
Are laundry facilities availible?
Yes! Laundry facilities are available to keep you ready for adventure every day.
Are there opportunities for staff recreation?
Yes! There’s free time to enjoy the lake, trails, or just relax with fellow staff.
